Our Story
It all started in 2018, during the final chapter of college life. Hannah was at the University of Florida, and Bobby was a few hours away at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. They met briefly—just a spark, a moment—but they both assumed they would never see each other again given their plans post-graduation. Fate, however, wasn’t quite done with them.
After graduation, Bobby moved to Philadelphia to start his new job at Delta, while Hannah headed to Tampa to start her marketing career. They kept in touch, and after a few months, Bobby began spending most of his weekends flying to Tampa to see Hannah. Soon, weekend visits turned into something more, and after a year of long-distance, the timing was just right and Hannah moved to Philadelphia.
From there, the adventure took off. Over the next six years, they built a life full of early morning coffee runs, spontaneous getaways, dinner dates, new cities, and new memories. Then, in May 2023, on the dreamy coastline of Troia, Bobby got down on one knee—and Hannah said yes!
Now, in 2025, they’re heading back to that beautiful place to say “I do,” surrounded by the people they love most.
They can't wait to celebrate with you!

Troia is a peninsula adjacent to the Sado River Estuary, and a popular resort destination in Portugal. To get there, we recommend you fly into Lisbon, Uber to Setubal, and take the short ferry ride from there to Troia. Please see below for detailed information on accommodations and transportation.

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
While we love your little ones, this is an adult-only wedding and we unfortunately cannot make exceptions as we would need to do so for everyone. We hope you take this as an opportunity to enjoy a relaxing getaway!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
For our Welcome Happy Hour on Friday, attire is "smart casual".
For the Wedding Day, attire is semi-formal in shades of beige or cream - we look forward to having everyone join us for a monochromatic, coastal look. The weather will likely be a little windy, so you may wish to plan accordingly.
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
While we can't predict the weather, Troia is known for being warm but breezy in September, averaging a high of 81°and a low of 62°.

THE CEREMONY
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony and ask that you refrain from taking any photos or videos during that time.
WHERE WILL THE CEREMONY BE HELD?
The ceremony will take place outdoors at the Troia Design Hotel - on a turfed corner of the pool deck overlooking the ocean. Please arrive and be seated by 2:45 PM.
WHERE SHOULD I SIT?
The first few rows will be reserved for the wedding party and immediate family and will be indicated with a ribbon. Otherwise, please feel welcome to sit wherever you would like!
